Is there a way that you can make a rocket fired out of a spud gun whistle? it would be a really good idea.

You could probably make one of those air-flow whistler things that are on those Nerf footballs. Or, better yet, just rip a whistle of of one.
Summer Projects:
CO2 tank hybrid: Gotta fix the meter :(
Cane gun: Needs a pilot/fill setup
1.5" piston valve gun: Almost done

You could mod one of those cheap flutes up as a nose cone maybe. Or leave it together and add fin's, then you can adjust which tone you want by taping up the different holes.

There was a topic about this not long ago. Please search first, and I don't care if you have searched because I know its there.

I think the outcome was, its possible but hard to do without the proper tools and not very cost effective.

...perhaps you could take your standard PVC dart and drill a couple holes through the cap at the top, so the flute-style airflow would cause it to make noise?

A system like this would be a quarter-wave resonation chamber, so keep that in mind if you want to precisely tune them.
