If you're travelling overland, it shouldn't be an issue at all, but with all planes and some trains, you have to go through baggage control which isn't always comfortable.
besides.. you can always disemble a gun...
Not when it's held together with great big globs of epoxy you can't :P well, al least not in a manner in which it can easily be put together again hehe

lol, The Plumber's Convention (which would make sense if it was staged in Poland ;) ) where the elite of the plumbing community gather in a circle around a pile of PVC pipes and fittings and masturbate to their hearts' content :D

Well, when you just drive over the borders of NL, BE, FR, GER and that sort of stuff, you can easily take stuff with you. But when crossing over to the UK, I think things get though since the terrorists came up. I've been to the UK with school and they had the whole touringcar inspected and all bags X-ray scanned.
The trouble is the location.
It is.
Ive been to that friend of mine who has a good amount of land between farms in brabant, but his parents reacted "unpleasant" on the cannon I brought. Let alone a spudmeeting :(

I was indeed referring to the crossing of the Channel.
Same problem might occur for our Scandinavian friends.

Mainland Europe is no problem, when it comes to moving plumbing parts.
I like the idea of disassembling them, so all legal issues are off, even for UK citizens.

That still leaves location.
We could always do this in the same fashion streetracers do it...
Meet and if all goes to hell, scatter and run :D

Psysix, would it at all change if we paid that guy for the use of his land, and made sure we kept it clean? Just taters, no hard ammo.
If we could have a day of fun together, I'd pay him 20 euro's for his effort.
If we could get 15 or 20 guys together, who all pay up, he might reconsider..I'd bring a friend and if you would all do the same...

Wait...my parents neighbour has a patch of land pretty close to me..
But I don;t know him that well..
How would you guys feel about paying for a location?
( duh..we could rent a paintballfield!)

one question.
i am not 18 and i really want to get there.
i don't understand why, do i have to be 18 to have a spud gun?

if so i can bring my guns so the grown up people can shoot them.
that will be larda, and it would have been cool if someone take a Co2 tank with them so i can try 500psi in it.

also i can get there with some parts and stuff that can be useful.

and IF it be a long time meeting with tents and stuff i can bring a welder so we can make some throw together hybrids.

If you are underage, you would have to be a "spectator".
That is, if anybody sees us.I think you have to be 16 own a pneumatic here.

If you come with an adult friend, you have an excuse. The stuff is not yours, it's his.

Larda's aluminium powder cannon will be considered a firearm by Dutch standards.

what's the problem? all you need is a large privately owned area.. soemthing like a paintball field would be ideal

honestly eventhough it would be fun I don't think that there will be any meeting this year... european spudders are not organised enough yet

The dutch law forbids combustions and hybrids, so in fact it is pneumatics only since pneumatics are legal "on own terrain".

BUT ofcourse you can bring along a few combs/hybrids too. And when the cops come, make sure they're hidden away between pneumatics and we can tell all guns are pneumatic.
They wont understand the mess of parts anyways.

As I just told to BtB in a PM conversation:
We might try to contact a farmer. There are probably farmers around who are willing to borrow their land to us.
Farmers doing "carbide shooting" every now and then will probably not have much trouble with a cannon.

Probably not. You cant have a normal conversation with him, he is always angry and seems to like forbidding things I and my friend want to do.
Even that friend of mine (his son) fully agrees with me on the fact that his father is an compete asshole.
I am not sure if we can buy him over, but I doubt it. And on top of that, I don't feel comfortable with him around, he is probably going to nag us for all day.

How exactly could that be any more illegal than a pneumatic? It works essentially the same way, and no combustion of solid fuels are involved in its operation.

Also, when SpudFarm refers to "Larda", he's talking about his huge hybrid/pneumatic burst disk cannon.

@DYI
(Larda can be used as a 2000psi pneumatic tho)
and
when SpudFarm refers to "Larda", he's talking about his huge hybrid/pneumatic burst disk cannon.
uhmm thanks for clearing that up for us - I though that poor Larda has some serious problems with flatulence

Is ther any member from europe who owns at least 8 ha of land ?

Yes, now I know...I got confused..I thought Larda made this cannon: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/28-8kje ... 13449.html
, and spudfarm was a friend of his... How was I to know Spudfarm names his cannons after this guy..wait...I'm still confused...

I´m not 100% sure, but I think the part where solid is turned into gas is where they outlaw it.Again, not 100% sure.If no reaction occurs, it should be legal, but they will probably confiscate it anyway and keep it during investigation. They´re dicks.
