Well this is my new target I made to shoot my golfball gun at. Its made from a printer box and stuffed with coke cans, newspaper, styrofoam, water bottles, and old towels. The outside is covered with an old sheet. So far Ive tested it by shooting it with my golfball gun and bbmg at 45 psi each, Ill test it at higher pressures tomorrow. Any ideas about water proofing it. I considered covering it with a sheet of plastic but figured the golfball would punch through it. It probably weighs around 30 pounds.

Its amazing you'd go into this much work for a target
unless of course it is a back stop meant to stop the golf balls :?
For the water proofing, just wrap it completely in duct tape

Well I spent about an hour on it, its more of a backstop I guess since I made it not for the golfballs to penatrate, I set it behind a piece or rotten wood and it completly stops the golfball, as for covering it with duct tape this wont work for the bbmg since the bbs are small and punch cleanly through.

Thanks for the quick reply

The printer is not in there but I have an old scanner that I can destroy once I remove a couple of parts I want such as the motor.

Off topic.... My HP $50 scanner broke the other day, i called tech support today....sunday.... and they sent me a gift certificate worth $90

Woo HP!!!!

Back on topic....

Ya... nice backstop. that should stop most high velocity golf balls. lol
What kind of muzzle velocity are you getting from a golf ball??

Btw.... i tried to use an old, beat up mattress as a bouncy ball backstop... the ball went through.... hit the concrete wall... and went through the mattress again backwards.... and then landed in a box right near my feet. lol. so be careful.
