Would Like Help with Semi-Auto Valve.
The title says it all...and yes, for those of you who are going to say (in really high-pitched, yet angry tones) "look in the wiki or use search", I already have, but nothing seems to be what I am looking for. The ultimate goal is to have the gun fire multiple times without having to pump it up again. I do not have a compressor, but I do have a shock pump. Also, although the pictures are quite blurry (drawings were quite small), it all has to fit in the respected shape of the gun, with a few exceptions i.e. pressure gauge and pressure tank if that is needed.

Ok...
What caliber? How big can it be? How much power are you looking for? Thing is, with a shock pump you're limited to a small main tank which doesn't leave room for a lot of high power shots. It all depends on the caliber really.

i still have the link from a thread earlier today, here is the semi auto gun I made, its a fairly basic concept used by a bunch of people on here and seems to scale for multiple calibres. If you cant figure it out by yourself you arent ready to build it.

A good example of what can be done even with limited resources if you apply a little thought and imagination.

@ saefroch- I never really thought of using the showcase as a good source of info.
@ Gun Freak- A paintball as ammo. I guess I forgot to say that in the original post.

Its going to be hard to make a paint ball cal semi if you only have a shock pump to make pressure you should just a compressor and make one like
this.
this.

I actually looked at that one that Mr. Crowley and Crna Legija both recommended. The problem is that it looks like it wouldn't fit in the design I'm gunning for, no pun intended. I'm trying to post a picture but right now they are to large of a file. I am working on bringing them down. So once I get the pictures up, the real problem is finding a valve that would fit in the gun...and I really don't want to compromise the shape and look of the gun. The gun in JSR's post looks like it would be good, but I'm a little confused on how it works, mostly on how the barrel moves.

With only a hand pump, your best bet is a hammer valve, like said before shockys take so long to pump up larger chambers, you will only get few shots from the tank.
That is all.

You could always scale the valve down. It doesn't have to be the size it is in the that thread.caspar97 wrote:I actually looked at that one that Mr. Crowley and Crna Legija both recommended. My gun can be charged by a shock pump http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/hammer- ... 23051.html
it takes 100 pumps to 300 psi, and you get 60 shoot form that. I use bbs, but if you use a stronger striker, I could work for paintball i think

@ Wyz- I really liked the look of the valve. Could you give the specifics on it or maybe a diagram. I know you posted a diagram of the entire gun, but I was wondering if there was one of just the valve
