I am new to the whole wonderful world of spud guns and was wondering how exactly do you mod a sprinkler valve to use it on a launcher? I have looked at the sprinkler valves at Lowe's and it has two wires running off of it. do all I need to do is put them on a switch or what? Any advice would be great.

You could get a ASCO or DAYTON or any other solenoid valve that is brass and is stronger than a plastic sprinkler valve....There all kinda the same design as a sprinkler valve....A 3/4" plastic sprinkler valve is bigger than a brass ASCO 3/4" solenoid valve...Almost by half....Thats if only size matters to you....If you are trying to keep size to a minimum....EBAY is a good place to look....
