a modded sprinkler valve question..

I searched blowguns.. but i couldn't find even one in my country!
so i had an idea to use a ball valve instead of blowgun for the
modded sprinkler..
BUT, will it work???
and most important.. will it open fast?

1/4" ball valve will pilot the sprinkler just fine. The hard part is aiming and flipping the valve open at the same time.

One of those "gun shaped" ones will work fine too if you have one in your country.

If you have compressors in your country you should have blow guns. And you could always order from ebay.

yea, but i'm asking if the ball valve modded sprinkler will work good..

It will work, but the blowgun will open faster because it is alot easier to activate and when you press it, it open very fast.

The ball valve will activate the valve on the firsts moment of the connexion between compressed air in the sprinkler and normal air, so you wont have time to open it fully enough to really make the ball valve worth it.

And it will be hard to aim if your gun is portable.
