Question about "DWV" endcaps

I bought a heavy duty(thick PVC) end cap at Lowes that looks identical to this:



I see many people using these, but they are labeled DWV? They are still pretty hefty , and I'm not sure if it's safe to use them.

Everything I can see here looks DWV. Those might not be clean outs there, but adapters. You can tell NSF-PW by the socket depths and the shape. That's a bell reducer which is also DWV, Look for pressure rated bushings which will require a coupling. If your at Lowe's look down the plumbing isle more. They have 2 sections, DWV which will likely be filled with 3" and 4" and then their small stuff to their 2". Most Lowes in my area won't go about 2" for pressure rated but I have heard of some doing so. Good luck.

I do have a thread on using ABS DWV in an air cannon. It is not recommended, but it seems to hold up better than PVC DWV.
